Hi, I’m an Epipremnum aureum, but my friends call me a Marble Queen or Devil’s Ivy. I’m an extremely popular houseplant due to my long, trailing stems – and I’m also relatively easy to keep alive!
Cut my leaves back a couple of times a year to keep me bushy and full, and to encourage new trailing stems. To give my new leaves the best chance of coming out with white variegation, keep me in a spot with plenty of bright, indirect/filtered light.
LIGHT
I will thrive best in bright, indirect/filtered light, however I can also happily survive in low-light environments. Keep me out of direct sun otherwise my foliage may burn.
Common spots for me include a window sill, mantle or an office desk.
WATER
Wait until the top few inches of my soil are dry in between watering, and make sure my pot has a drainage hole. Overwatering will cause my leaves to turn yellow or fall off.
If my leaves start to wilt and look sad, you will know I need a good drink of water.
Like all plants, the amount of water I need depends on the amount of light I get.
SOIL
I’ll be right at home in a good quality, well-drained potting mix. To make sure my roots can breathe in between watering, house me in a pot with a drainage hole.
Pot Diameter: 12.5cm
