Terrarium Rebuilds
An old terrarium doesn’t have to be the end of the story. Bring your existing jar or vessel into our North Perth store and we’ll give it a fresh start—whether it originally came from us or somewhere else.
We recommend emailing ahead with photos and measurements, plus any ideas you have in mind.
Pricing
- Materials: retail price of the plants, substrate and other materials used.
- Labour: $40 per 15-minute block, with a $40 minimum labour charge. Total labour time is rounded up to the next block.
- Cleaning: bring your vessel clean and dry. If cleaning is required, labour charges apply plus an additional cleaning fee agreed beforehand.
We’ll provide an estimate when you order and check with you before exceeding it. Payment is due on collection. All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.
Timing
Rebuilds usually take 2–4 weeks. We’ll give you an estimated timeframe when ordering and contact you when it’s ready. Timing may vary with workload and material availability.
Other notes
- Design: style notes are welcome. Final plant choices and layout depend on availability and what suits your vessel.
- Existing contents: let us know beforehand if there’s anything you’d like reused or returned.
- Glassware: vessels must be suitable and structurally sound. We take reasonable care but cannot cover breakage caused solely by existing damage or inherent weakness.
- Changes: inspect your terrarium at collection. We don’t offer free redesigns for changes of mind afterwards.
- Aftercare: we’ll provide care guidance; transport and ongoing care are your responsibility.
- Cancellations: charges may apply for authorised work completed and materials already used or committed to your order.
These terms do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including for faulty materials or workmanship.
